It has been a little over a month since my return from Liberia. A trip that I took on behalf of the Youth Discipleship & Sports Ministry Programs. The purpose of my trip was to encourage those in partnership with EMA. I met with Justyn Tokeh, Principal of ELWA  Academy Christian School, Charles Dixon and Joel Bono, both who oversee the Sports Ministry Programs. The meetings were centered around both Ministries being brought under the umbrella of ELWA Christian Academy. This would offer in-country and on-site accountability, oversight and direction to the program.

The Youth Discipleship/Sports Ministry Program groups, boys and girls of Elementary and Middle School ages.

The campus is struggling for an onsite sports facility that would benefit the kids on the ELWA campus as well as the kids from the surrounding communities that would come and use the facilities.

During the trip to Liberia in February, I was able to meet with individuals who are the decision makers. An outdoor open top basketball facility was discussed and determined that it was important for the Sports Ministry Program.
