ELWA Ministries Association USA (EMAUSA) is a US-based nonprofit, nondenominational Christian ministry providing spiritual and physical aid to the hurting people of Liberia. Formed in 2009, EMAUSA supports the efforts of ELWA Ministries Liberia helping to meet the needs of Liberia’s victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine ultimately, and most importantly, sharing God’s love.

​Eternal Love Winning Africa (ELWA) was founded in 1953 as Africa's first Christian radio station.  Through the years, the ministries have grown to include ELWA Hospital and Trinity Dental Clinic, ELWA Academy and many other outreach ministries.  EMAUSA is committed to serving the ministries of ELWA and the surrounding communities.

​Beginning to Thrive Again
​
The devastation of a 14-year civil war and an ebola epidemic threatened to destroy ELWA and its radio, education, and medical ministries.  Despite this, ELWA is alive and thriving as a beacon for the Gospel in Liberia and beyond.  EMAUSA continues to support ELWA revitalization efforts.

Feeding the Hungry
EMAUSA works with various ministry partners to provide highly nutritious food to thousands of undernourished children and adults.
ELWA Ministries is a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) partner and has shipped millions of healthy  meals to the undernourished people of Liberia. EMAUSA covers shipping costs and coordinates the distribution of food. A forty-foot shipping container holds 272,000 meals and costs $15,000 to ship. During the COVID crisis , EMAUSA also purchased local rice when shipping was not possible.

​​Providing Scholarships

Believing a quality education will build strong future leadership for Liberia, EMAUSA has supported full tuition scholarships for many students at ELWA Academy,  a 900 student , K-12 school. EMAUSA has also supported hundreds of Liberian students at other schools and colleges.

​Strengthening Infrastructure

Ongoing infrastructure needs are challenging.  Generators, water pumps, and sewer systems are crucial to all ELWA ministries.  EMAUSA provides practical and financial support for the ELWA compound as those needs arise.
