ELWA Ministries Association USA (EMAUSA) is a US-based nonprofit, nondenominational Christian ministry providing spiritual and physical aid to the hurting people of Liberia. Formed in 2009, EMAUSA supports the efforts of ELWA Ministries Liberia helping to meet the needs of Liberia’s victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine ultimately, and most importantly, sharing God’s love.

​Committed to Serving ELWA Ministries

The ​Eternal Love Winning Africa (ELWA) campus was founded in 1953 as Africa's first Christian radio station.  Through the years, the ministries have grown to include ELWA Hospital, ELWA Academy, and other outreach ministries.  EMAUSA is committed to supporting these ministries.

The devastation of a 14-year civil war and an ebola epidemic threatened to destroy ELWA and its radio, education, and medical ministries.  Despite this, ELWA is alive and thriving as a beacon for the Gospel in Liberia and beyond.  EMAUSA continues to support ELWA revitalization efforts.

Feeding the Hungry

ELWA Ministries partnered with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) to ship millions of healthy meals to undernourished people of Liberia. EMAUSA covered shipping costs and coordinated the distribution of food. During the COVID crisis, EMAUSA purchased local rice when shipping was not possible.

​​Providing Scholarships

Believing a quality education will build strong future leadership for Liberia, EMAUSA has supported tuition scholarships for many students at ELWA Academy,  a K-12 school.

​Strengthening Infrastructure

Ongoing facility needs are challenging.  Generators, water pumps, and sewer systems are crucial to all ELWA ministries.  EMAUSA provides practical and financial support for the ELWA compound as those needs arise.
